Thirty Years Fit: The Keys to Success
The Louisiana Tech Adult Fitness Program, one the longest running and most successful fitness programs for ages 55+ in the South, is celebrating its thirtieth year. A brief history of our Adult Fitness Program will be presented emphasizing aspects of program design/development, marketing/recruitment techniques and ideas, adherence/retention, equipment use/exercise techniques, student involvement through practicums/internships, staffing issues, social events, and fostering community involvement. This presentation is designed to equip the attendee to take their existing program to the next level or to get a brand new program off the ground using our tried and time-tested ideas.
