Tappin to a Hip Hop Beat
Your students will love tapping rhythms to a hip hop beat - and you'll have fun, too! For beginners through experienced tappers, you will learn a short routine and choreography tips. Handouts and tap shoes will be available for participants, along with ideas for acquiring shoes for your group. This session addresses the academic content standards of historical, cultural and social context with creative expression and communication. Also covered will be the National Dance Standards of understanding choreographic principles, processes and structures while connecting dance to healthful living.
