Lab Time on a Dime |
This session is designed for the undergraduate Kinesiology/Exercise Science instructor who struggles with limited laboratory resources. A series of mini-laboratory experiences will be presented utilizing commonly found items and easily constructed supplementary materials. Session attendees will be provided with an opportunity to: 1) experience hands-on labs, just as their student would, gaining insight into abstract theoretical concepts from a number of movement science sub-disciplines, as well as 2) apply these theoretical concepts to real-world situations. The goal of this session is to provide attendees with mini-lab experiences that can be "used on Monday" without the addition of expensive lab equipment. |
