Spirituality, Religion, and Risk Taking Factors in College Underclassmen
Nearly one third of all Americans believe religion to be the most important part of their life. Nearly two thirds of Americans believe religion to be an important part of their life. Among college underclassmen, it is common to here the phrase, “I’m not religious, but I am spiritual.” This session will examine the relationship between spirituality, religiosity, religion, and risk taking factors among college undergraduate students. Special emphasis will be given to discussing if spirituality education serves as a protective factor for the college underclassmen.
