Concussion, including sport related concussion, is a public health concern, with CDC reports of over 1.2 million injuries each year in the United States. Research in the area of sport-related concussion has yielded important information in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of these injuries. This program intends to focus on contemporary approaches in the management of sport-related concussions for the athletic trainer, coach, and physical educator. |
