Pre-Service PE Majors' Perceptions About the Field of PE |
This research examines the attitudes and perceptions of undergraduate PE majors enrolled in the Faculty of Education at the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. The study will track which, if any, changes occur as the students progress from an on campus theoretical knowledge base to a more practical knowledge base during their specialized practica. The data from this research will help improve PETE as well as benefit future teacher candidates with an interest in physical education instruction, current teachers of physical education, and all physical education teacher educators at post-secondary institutions across North America and abroad. |
