Effective Professional Tools for Programming Senior Exercise |
Attendees will leave this session ready to move to Mesquite, Nevada!!! The Senior Exercise Program at the Mesquite (Nevada) Recreation Center is a past recipient of the AAHPERD - CAAD “Excellence in Programming Award”. The mission of this Nevada Program is the creation of an activity friendly environment providing a valid field monitoring system, functional activities, and motivation for continuous exercise. Results identified from six years of ADL field evaluations will be shared. Program highlights also include the use of indoor and outdoor facilities, physical activity and exercise opportunities, and impact on the lifestyles of older adults residing in Mesquite. |
