Leaders of Character and Competence in Sport and Education
This session will examine how the twin pillars of character and competence are essential for leaders in sport and education. Leaders of character believe in and live by timeless values. Leaders continuously build their knowledge, skills, and abilities through lifelong learning and simultaneously help others maximize their talents. Through an examination and analysis of actual situations, participants will realize that it is imperative for leaders in sport and education to serve as role models for professional and personal conduct based on high ethical and performance standards.
