Action Based Learning Lab: Strategy for Successful Student Achievement
The Action Based Lab provides the combination of developing physical activity and learning creating success for the early childhood learner. Elementary physical education teachers and administrators will see how the Action Based Lab stations are utilized to increase cognitive skills and develop habits for being physically active. This presentation will illustrate how one elementary school has used the Action Based Lab to improve test scores for kindergarten and special needs students. Implementing the Action Based Lab has demonstrated its value as a learning strategy that improves the learning, self esteem, and self awareness.
