| NCLB: No COACH Left Behind - Helping Coaches Be Their Best |
| Too many coaches coach the way they were coached, going through season after season without an organized approach to becoming better coaches. This session provides athletic administrators with a plan for enhancing the abilities of the coaches they serve. Six areas are examined: program development, assessment, philosophy, skills, pedagogy, and coaching standards. Participant interaction creates ideas for use in specific programs of those in attendance. Session also includes goal setting and planning of in-service programs. Those in attendance will leave with specific ideas to in-service their coaches. |
