Physical Education Success Stories |
Despite growing demands on schools due to high stakes testing and other federal, state, or local requirements, a number of schools and districts have maintained or increased time committed to physical education. This session will present themes related to the keys to success and ways of overcoming barriers from 26 success stories of schools and districts that either maintained or increased physical education time. Such successes can be used by physical education teachers and coordinators, school health staff, parents, school board members, principals, and legislators to encourage and inspire efforts to maintain and expand school-based physical education. |
