Lights, Camera, Action . . . Instruction and Assessment |
Learn to create, edit and share your own movies using a digital camera and Windows Movie Maker for physical education instruction and assessment. Participants will create a one-minute movie with titles, captions and scene transitions demonstrating instructional cues for motor and sports skills, which can be used by pre-service/teachers in the classroom and posted on the Internet. Look at examples created by undergraduates and posted on YouTube.com and Kudda.com. Participants will be provided with assignment guidelines and rubrics for creating similar projects in the 5-12 classroom and technology lab. |
Speakers: Carolyn Ruos Thomas and Anna E. DeVito, Shepherd University, Shepherdstown, WV |
