The results of a study by Melton, Bullet, Czech, and Zwald (2007) indicated future trends in University Basic Instruction Programs. This presentation will include: steps needed to create a program, incorporating current trends; networking/advocating; establishing good public relations, identifying and selecting instructors; scheduling; implementing policies and procedures; pre-service training; in-service training; evaluating; providing teaching incentives, awards, and recognition, Trans cultural learning experiences, utilizing technology to enhance your program.
