Facilitating Course Delivery via Classroom Performance System (CPS) Technology
Technological innovations in pedagogy continue to transform traditional approaches to delivering course content in physical education. New technologies employ interactive approaches that facilitate teaching methods, while providing simple management, feedback and evaluative techniques that reduce traditional paperwork and assignment/examination data compilation time for instructors and their assistants. The purpose of this presentation is to introduce the Classroom Performance System hardware/software package developed by eInstruction, explain its operating system as it functions in our general education physical education course, Fitness for Life, and afford audience members opportunities to utilize some of its system functions in that context.
