Virtual Reality in Physical Education |
Technology has advanced to the point where the use of virtual reality can be a reality in K-12 physical education. This session will discuss the pros and cons of such use. The session will specifically address: virtual reality bikes, dance dance revolution, 3D objects, 3D panoramics, and interactive sport simulations. Inexpensive alternatives will also be discussed including eyetoy and interactive sport video games using Playstation, xbox, and Wii. Specific lesson ideas and strategies will also be shared that address the physical education standards. |
