Physical Education Academic Twist: Integrating Science, Math, & Language Arts |
Integration is the name of the game! Want to meet the learning styles of many students and combat obesity at the same time? Attend this session to learn how others are taking an academic twist to Elementary Physical Education classes. Presenters will provide ideas on new games and activities integrating math, science, music, art and language arts. This half-day is activity-packed providing activities which are an innovative way for students to retain necessary and critical classroom information. These ideas can also be used in collaboration with the classroom teacher to promote physical education in the classroom and increase physical activity.
