Let's Talk About Sex Education!
Sex education in schools is one of the most sensitive and controversial topics. The purpose of this study was to determine if professionals in the fields of health and physical education (a) know the facts about sexual health topics, and (b) are comfortable teaching a variety of topics within the general boundaries of sexual health. Results will be discussed. This session is targeted toward all teachers as well as anyone else interested in this timely topic. Participants will be encouraged to discuss current curricula, discuss effectiveness of current programs, and share their own experiences in and out of the classroom.
