NDA Heritage Brunch Banquet
Celebrate Heritage Honoree Earlynn J. Miller, professor emeritus of James Madison University, and her extraordinary life dedicated to dance. Earlynn was a student of Miriam Gray, who mentored her to become a significant force in the field and a tireless worker for NDA. Earlynn’s dance program at JMU had an exceptional reputation for producing both strong artists and educators. The Earlynn Miller Endowed Scholarship for Dance provides funds to outstanding undergraduate students. With her keen interest in folk dance, Earlynn traveled to Israel where she gathered authentic dance materials and to Denmark where she performed with the Blue Ridge Tradition.
