Most of us think that if a loved one developed a deadly disease like cancer we would do anything to help them…anything! But does anything include running a marathon, completing a triathlon, or cycling across the country? Does anything include raising awareness through speeches and raising money for cancer research? Athletes, experienced and novices, around the globe touched by cancer are determined to “get physical” by taking to the streets, the trails, and the rivers to raise funds and awareness for cancer through their own participation in sporting events. |
