“Wallflowers Want to Dance Too” Partner Dances--with No Partner Required!
Stratton Charles Schaeffer Jr, Millersville University, Millersville, PA

During this hands-on session participants be introduced to a variety of social dances that do NOT require a set partner. Unlike line dances, however, these dance still involve physical contact with others. Included are dances that are done with alternating partners and/or in groups of up to 6 people. Dances learned in this session will be of particular benefit to individuals who are attempting to get unfamiliar faces to bond (ice breakers) and for those working in an environment where there is an uneven ratio of males and females.
