| What Did You Call Me? Properly Describing Participants: A Documentary Analysis of Published Research |
| We discuss findings and implications of a study conducted to determine trends in the description of samples in two premier journals, Adapted Physical Activity Quarterly and Journal of Teaching Physical Education. Documentary analyses reveal several trends. For example, these journals most often report males first over females and most studies fail to identify race/ethnicity variables. |
