Doing No Harm: Ethical Behavior in School-Based Research |
This program is designed for beginning investigators as well as more mature researchers who face ethical issues involved in conducting school-based research on a daily basis. After starting with a theoretical base, the program concludes with participant interactions and problem solving. The focus is on the protection of the rights of all participants—investigators as well as subjects. Topics include ethical issues around gaining access to and maintaining school populations of students and teachers and how to successfully negotiate IRB guidelines. |
