Using Credible, Persistent, and Resolute Advocacy to Influence Policy Change
The panel will inform attendees about advocacy and how it may be used to influence policy change at the local, state, and national levels. Issues central to planning advocacy initiatives will be addressed and will include targeting advocacy efforts, advocacy strategies/tools, and ideas for how one might structure and mobilize credible, persistent, and resolute advocacy efforts. In addition, panelists from the states of South Carolina and California will share their advocacy efforts including triumphs, challenges, and lessons learned. In closure, attendees will be afforded the opportunity to ask questions and dialogue with panel members.
