| Open to all NAGWS and WSF members. Both the National Association for Girls and Women in Sport and the Women's Sports Foundation rely on research data to dispel myths and educate the public about the benefits of support participation, active lifestyles for females, and the role of women in sport leadership. To help recognize the importance of research and pay tribute to leaders in the research arena, the Women's Sports Foundation has developed the Darlene A. Kluka Women's Sports and Activity Research Award. This award is presented each year at the NAGWS/WSF Joint Reception at the AAHPERD Convention. |
