| COPETE Physical Education Teacher Education Awards Luncheon |
| All physical education teacher educators are invited to come together to celebrate their profession. Luncheon will be followed by a ceremony honoring the PETE programs that were approved for national recognition in 2005 according to the NASPE Initial or Advanced PETE Standards. The PETE Honor Award will also be given to individuals, entities, or programs that have done exemplary work in PETE and had a lasting effect on teacher education beyond their own university or setting. After the certificates and award have been presented, the luncheon will feature an address by Dr. Robert Pangrazi titled: "Standards, Beliefs, and Competencies: A Slightly Different View of Teacher Education." |
