Martial Art Fitness
Enhancing your program with martial arts. Martial arts have been an effective way to provide fitness activity to youth. The activities can help a student develop flexibility, strength, endurance, and balance. Tai Chi and Yoga can be a great way to begin a martial arts program and lay the foundation for students. Tae Kwon Do and Aikido can provide excitement and intensity to the program. Martial Arts can be taught as a complete fitness program and can be implemented in any physical education class, after school program, or other fitness related classes.
