Environmental Graphics and Bleachers: Key Issues in Facility Construction and Renovation
This session will provide the attendee with a working knowledge of environmental graphics and the many different types of bleachers used in physical activity, sport, and recreation facilities. Special emphasis will be placed on developing an understanding of facility standards that directly relate to environmental graphics and bleachers. Discussion will be conducted on the importance, types, and purposes of signage within the facility. Common issues in bleacher safety as well as methods for improving bleacher safety will also be discussed. Meeting the needs of various facility consumer groups (children, elderly, special needs, etc.) will be addressed.
