Start the Adventure: Cost Effective Ways to Bring Adventure Education into your Curriculum
Many schools and camps have started using Adventure Education with their students, and have even installed climbing walls and other types of climbing equipment. Others considering Adventure Education have not, for a variety of reasons (e.g. cost, lack of training, safety), initiated their programs. This activity session will provide physical education teachers with a variety of low cost Adventure Education activities. Participants will take part in name games, ice breakers, challenges, initiative, and learn how Prusik slings can be used to turn traditional gym climbing ropes into high elements.
