AAPAR/Adapted Physical Activity Council endorsed by Council of Physical Education for Children, Middle and Secondary School Physical Education Council
Meeting the Needs of All Students (with and without Disabilities)
This activity workshop will provide participants with hands on activities, methods, and resources for addressing the needs of ALL students and successfully including individuals with disabilities in regular physical education as well as their adapted physical education classes. Educators will have the opportunity to utilize tools and resources for adapting activities and equipment to address the needs of all students. They will also learn how to design and implement grade-appropriate experiences targeted to the benchmarks for physical education standards.
