Lawmakers propose and enact legislation that impacts many health issues. It is essential for health professionals to be able to effectively communicate with lawmakers during face-to-face meetings. Health professionals and educators who attend this workshop will benefit by learning a process to plan, conduct, and review a legislative visit. Workshop participants will actively conduct and critique examples of legislative visits. |
