Advocating for School Health Programs
Lawmakers propose and enact legislation that impacts many health issues. It is essential for health professionals to be able to effectively communicate with lawmakers during face-to-face meetings. Health professionals and educators who attend this workshop will benefit by learning a process to plan, conduct, and review a legislative visit. Workshop participants will actively conduct and critique examples of legislative visits.
