NASPE STARS: Showcase of Quality Physical Education Programs
Representatives of K-12 Level 1, 2, and 3 NASPE/STARS schools recognized as “Programs of Excellence” will discuss the experience of preparing evidence to demonstrate how their school PE programs meet the thirty-one criteria of a quality program. Learn of the impact of the results on curricular and program change/improvements. Roundtable discussions will provide opportunity to focus on specific grade levels and to direct questions to specific teachers/schools. Information about the STARS program application process will be provided including updates regarding the criteria and requirements for applying for SUPER STARS status (Level 4 and 5) available for 2007 applicants.
