Special Populations Symposium: Critical Quantitative Issues in Adapted Physical Activity Research |
Researchers in disabilities often experience challenges due to small sample size, large variability, lack of standardized tests, and difficulty to generalize the study results. To be able to use appropriate research design it is essential to become familiar with new small-sample statistical methods and test accommodation procedures. This symposium provides an overall review on critical quantitative issues in disability research, and an update on the latest progress in research design, statistical methods, and testing procedures in dealing with these issues. |
