Moral Mandates and Modern Sport |
Modern sports participants often blindly adhere to the sport ethic. Sport participants are not encouraged to examine common sport attitudes and behavior through any moral framework. In this session natural laws generated from the sacred texts of several world religions will be used to examine sport attitudes and behaviors that are generally accepted. Many attitudes and behaviors are at odds with the moral mandates set forth by the natural law. |
