The “Elite Performance Model™” Approach to the Development and Implementation of a Comprehensive, Nation-wide Sport Education Program |
Learn how to plan, develop, implement and promote a sport education program that meets the needs of all levels of coaches and athletes while being a financially viable part of a non-profit national governing body. Since 2001, the US Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) has been using its “Elite Performance Model (EPM)™” to define and evaluate all aspects of it’s high performance programs. Since 2003 the EPM has been used to develop a comprehensive, structured and rigorous Coaches Education Program. The success of this approach has resulted in USSA athletes winning more World Cup and Olympic medals then ever before. |
