Web-Based Laboratory Modules for Biomechanics
Web-based active learning modules in biomechanics were developed that provide interactive, experiential activities typical of the dynamic, real-world situations that future professionals will encounter in their daily career responsibilities. These modules provide practice in a variety of professional scenarios so that students are more able to make the connection between the theory of the biomechanical concepts and the application of those concepts in their professional lives. The authors used digital videos of real life performances, Dartfish software, and a variety of activities, ages, skill-levels, genders, etc. so that students could practice applying the principles they have learned.
