The First Six Weeks of School |
Establishing the learning environment within the classroom setting is a major determinant of academic achievement for students. In the days of increased accountability, it is important to provide a quality physical education program. Creating a quality program for the school year requires establishing a comprehensive leaning environment. This session will outline in detail for elementary educators, ways that physical educators are incorporating aspects of The Responsive Classroom approach related to the process of opening up the learning environment. Presenters with twenty-six years experience will outline in detail the concepts, structures, and activities employed during the first six weeks of school. |
