Be Active Kids! Science-Enriched Physical Education: Hands-on with Flex Coolbody’s Fitness Club! |
“Flex Coolbody’s Fitness Club” is the third of three units in the Be Active Kids! curriculum. These 30 lessons, 10 each for 3rd–5th grade, focus on standards-based science and physical education concepts associated with flexibility, maintaining caloric balance, and making fitness club-like activity decisions based on personal science data. In this active session, elementary physical education teachers/ participants will walk-through four lessons representing different grades and fitness components and take home teaching tips and lesson handouts. |
