CIF Southern Section's Pursuing Victory with Honor One-Day Coaches' Training |
Aimed directly at coaches, the training inspires thoughtful consideration of coaching techniques, competitive strategies, “heat of the moment” behavior, and the mission of sports in high schools. The training was developed in conjunction with and is licensed through the Josephson Institute of Ethics. Central to the message are the Six Pillars of Character: trustworthiness, responsibility, respect, fairness, caring, and citizenship. The training focuses on creating athletes whose experience on the playing field reflects these characteristics.
Our goal is that training be inexpensive, powerful, lasting and easy to implement at each school. |
