Application of Ethical Codes of Conduct for the Health Education Profession |
This session will highlight the efforts of the Coalition of National Health Education Organizations’ Task Force on Application of the Code of Ethics. Participants will have the opportunity to review progress of the Task Force, respond to various ethical dilemma scenarios, and provide input to the Task Force. Specific issues to be addressed include potential consequences for violations of the Code, professional preparation issues, common ethical dilemmas, and strategies for addressing such concerns. Input from this session will be utilized to help frame the final recommendations from the Task Force. |
