Skill Development, Course Value, Continued Participation after Required Activity Course Completion |
The study examined activity class perception of 5036 students over 3 years in a university setting. This program will discuss motivation and methodology used in the study, as well as results including course of greatest perceived gain, strength of perceived gains in skill and knowledge, meaningful of course participation, and students’ intent to continue activity after course completion. Opportunities for activity course improvement and implications for institutions with mandatory activity requirements in the core curriculum will be discussed. |
