"All That Jazz"
After World War I, the American public looked forward to a period of prosperity in the 1920's. The dances that soon emerged reflected the public's need for gaiety and freedom. The recent popularity of the movie "Chicago" has once again peaked our interest in the dance styles of the flapper era. This session highlights the more popular steps as we complete a piece of choreography designed to be performed to the opening number "All That Jazz" from the Broadway musical "Chicago". Suitable for all ages.
