Inclusive Fitness Activities: Keeping It Fun For Everyone |
This session will provide physical education teachers and after-school program coordinators a variety of inclusive fitness activities. All of the activities were developed to be fun and equitable for girls and boys. They can be used in a variety of physical education and recreation settings to promote health-related fitness with students at the elementary and middle school ages, while helping to create a safe and inclusive environment. The presentation will address how the activities can be implemented in various settings. Many of the activities presented require little or no equipment to implement. |
