Sport Education: Strategies for Delivering Authentic Sport Experiences for All Students |
Participants are introduced to the central features of sport education and its underlying curricular and instructional philosophies. They will actively engage in activities associated with planning a full sport education season, including for example, team selection, student role selection, competition format, and strategies for team affiliation, festivity, game modification strategies, designing authentic team practice activities using a “Teaching Games for Understanding” orientation, and use of team binders. |
