Sport Education: Strategies for Delivering Authentic Sport Experiences for All Students
Participants are introduced to the central features of sport education and its underlying curricular and instructional philosophies. They will actively engage in activities associated with planning a full sport education season, including for example, team selection, student role selection, competition format, and strategies for team affiliation, festivity, game modification strategies, designing authentic team practice activities using a “Teaching Games for Understanding” orientation, and use of team binders.
