Effective Practice for Lifetime Recreational Sport |
View and experience learning through an information processing model of brain based learning. Specifically, the session will cover how the brain handles information and how recreational professionals can use this knowledge to plan appropriate practice sequences which lead to skill mastery. The information processing model can be applied to the learning of any sport skill. The volleyball skill of forearm pass will be used to illustrate the concepts from motor learning. This is an activity session with full participation. |
