Impact of Diversity in Higher Education Settings: Students Interactions and Sharing of Diverse Experiences and Perspectives |
This year’s slogan, “Vision for Our Future, Reflections on Our Past,” fits perfectly with our presentation, which evolves around the ever changing topic “diversity in higher education.” The purpose of this presentation is to share with conference attendees graduate school experiences encountered by a diversity of students from the APE-PETE programs at The Ohio State University (OSU). This panel discussion is designed to provide attendees with an occasion to discuss life in graduate school and issues evolving around diversity and social justice, with a particular focus on the personal experiences of graduate students from different ethnicities, cultures, and languages. |
Keyword(s): diversity, multiculturalism/cultural diversity, professional preparation
