College and University Physical Education Professional Response to the National Obesity Epidemic: Strategies to Promote Wellness on Campus |
What is your school doing to combat our nation's obesity problem? What value does your institution place on physical activity? After last year's session on BIPs, it is clear that there is a need for further discussion. This hands-on workshop is intended to bring together higher education instructors who are interested in developing, improving, or just plain "hanging on" to their basic physical activity instructional programs. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with other professionals relative to the challenges faced in regards to program assessment, advocacy, curriculum, and administrative issues. Intended outcome is a working document. |
