Health and Mathematics Together in the Elementary Grades |
Infusing health education into other subjects is very important for the health education professionals and the students receiving the instruction, especially in light of the time constraints felt by many teachers at the elementary level. This participatory presentation will demonstrate multiple techniques to infuse health education into math and math into health education. The techniques will be connected to the national standards for both health and math. The session is designed for health educators who teach health, work with classroom teachers that are responsible for health education, or advocate for health instruction at the elementary level. |
