The Farmington (MI) Developmental Assessment Project |
This presentation details the process through which a large public school district is funding and revising their motor skill assessment rubrics by using component developmental sequence instruments. The project is a collaborative effort between Farmington (MI) Public Schools and faculty at Bowling Green (OH) State University. Project outcomes include grade level norms for skill acquisition, use of authentic assessment environments, and making links between developmental sequence rubrics and teaching practices. Preliminary normative data will be shared. |
