Club Possible - Building Attitudes Today for an Active Tomorrow |
The purpose of this presentation is to share practices of the collaborative after school program. Club Possible is a collaboration of organizations in the Omaha Community (YMCA, Camp Fire USA, Girl Scouts, and Boys and Girls Club, in partnership with the Visiting Nurses Association, Douglas County Health Department, and University of Nebraska, Omaha) aimed at increasing physical activity and improving nutrition through family support, behavioral skills, education, and participation in after school programs. This presentation will discuss the challenges associated with implementing Club Possible and reveal preliminary results. |
