Dancing with Disabilities--Adapted Movement
This session is based on the teacher's perspective of adapting movement in the classroom to students with disabilities, ranging from blindness to hearing impaired. It is designed to allow teachers to reflect on how to restructure lesson plans, find resources, and make modifications to primarily visual and audio movement classes to provide the best movement experience for a student with a disability. This session is open to teachers with and without adapted movement training.
